Our Story
Heidelberg Group Home has been a part of the Lehigh Acres community for more than 26 years — built and led by the same dedicated owner since the very first day, in business since 2001. What started as a commitment to provide real homes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities has grown into one of the most trusted residential care homes in Southwest Florida.
We are deeply proud that several of our residents have been with us since the very beginning. Their authorized representatives have trusted Heidelberg for decades because we deliver consistent, hands-on, person-centered care, year after year.
Our team blends decades of caregiving experience with a deeply personal approach to support. Every resident is unique, and our care plans reflect that — from daily routines and medication oversight to life-skill building and community outings, we walk alongside each resident on their journey.
